Ok here is the background. I have been feeling a small lump on my cervix. One day it is there and then the next day it is not. There are two places on my cervix I feel these lumps. Tey are not clusters like warts, they are just small raised spots that go away ina day ir two, and then come back. They also seem to return after sex. I am 18, does ne one know what it may be?

How do you even reach your own cervix to know? You must have long fingers and a flexible wrist - and an intense desire to monitor your own cervix. Anyhooo.

Interestingly the lumps seem to change in size and may be dependent on sexual activity....or that could be a coincidence. Masses on the uterus could include fibroids, adenomyosis, (both of those two would change size, dependent on your cycle) polyps, and cervical cancer. The first three are nothing to worry about unless you are bleeding with intercourse or having pain with intercourse. The last one is more serious but doesn't really fit the profile of changing in size as you describe.

We are only guessing since we can't do a physical exam and actually see what you are talking about. Therefore the best way to have this evaluated is by visiting your GYN. Good luck.

This could be any number of things including cervical cancer. If you are sexually active you should be getting an annual PAP smear anyway, but go to your doctor ASAP and get an exam.
