I'm auctioning a computer off on eBay. How much do you think this stuff will sell for?

1 Lexmark Printer
2 Keyboards (1 of them may be broken)
2 speakers
1 Power Surge
1 mouse
1 Computer Monitor (Not one of the flatter models)

I won't be including the cpu since it's broken and still has personal info. stored. So how much do you think these items will sell for?

Also how much should I charge for shipping? I'll be using ups ground as my shipping method.

Search for similar items on Ebay and see what they are going for so you can be competitive. Pack your items in boxes and weigh them on a scale. Use the UPS website to calculate your actual shipping charges. If you charge a flat shipping charge, make your shipping equal what it would cost you to ship to a location very distant from yours (say, if you were in Maryland, see what it would cost to ship to Seattle). You may want to add a dollar or two into your shipping cost for the cost of the boxes and other packing materials you use. My advice would be not to charge exorbitant shipping fees like many Ebay sellers do. Try to keep shipping charges close to what you actually pay. Also consider FedEx as an option for your larger packages; they are often cheaper than UPS. You may want to offer your buyers the option of combining shipping on multiple items so you can offer discounted shipping.

The printer might bring $20.00
keyboards cost $20 new. nobody wants a used one. no sale.
speakers.$5. if you can get a bid
Power surge protector is $10. new. Used $2.00
mouse, used, is worth $1.
The monitor might bring $50 but might not sell because of the shipping rates. It's heavy.

After you sell your stuff you have to box it and weigh it. Then go to www.ups.com Click on calculate shipping. Fill in your zip code and the zip code of the buyer. Then the size of the package and weight. Make sure you fill in all the other boxes. Then click "submit"
They will give you the price for all types of UPS shipping including UPS ground.

Hello there!

I would definitely suggest comparing prices with similar items listed on ebay. Check for each item seperately and see what prices people will pay.

I suggest doing this instead of just picking an amount based on someone's random estimate. Know the facts. That way you won't pick a price too low and initially lose some money, or pick a price too high, therefore getting know one to buy your products.

Also, you could consider selling all these products as a wholesale all together, that way it would be much more simple and easy for you. You would just have to worry about one listing and one place to ship it to.

I hope you find success and sell your items!
I hope this helps.
