It seems that Hezbollah wants to maximize civilian casualties on BOTH sides.

Hezbollah maximizes Israeli civilian casualties when they launch Syrian and Iranian designed antipersonnel missiles with ball-bearing shrapnel.

On the other hand it is more difficult to understand why Hezbollah deliberately operates military wings out of densely populated areas to maximize Lebanese casualties. This is done to gain sympathy in the propaganda war. Pro-Islamic websites as the website you mention always show graphic photos of maimed, mutillated children.

What Hezbollah wants is political power in Lebanon and among the Palestinians, and freedom for action within the context of Syrian-Iranian relations. This war will cost it dearly, but it has been preparing for this for a generation. If it can avoid utter calamity, it will have won -- if not by defeating Israel, then by putting itself first among the anti-Israeli forces. It opposes Israel and is the most effective force fighting it. Hezbollah's job is to survive and hurt Israel and the IDF as long as possible. That is what this war is about for Hezbollah.

The war began at Hezbollah's time and choosing. Military analysts say that the way the Israel-Hezbollah war has been prosecuted up until Monday, July 24, is more likely to bring Nassrallah closer to his war objectives than Olmert.

What a totally biased post you have put up! I am not writing this to get the points for being chosen as "best answer" but I hope some will pay attention.
Lebanon has been very weak with dealing with Hezbollah, and has allowed them to continually bombard Israel with rockets.
Why have you not posted pictures of the children the Hezbollah rockets have killed? I can think of two in the town of Nazerath both of them Arab, one was 5 the other 3. What did they do to bother Hezbollah? I'll tell you, they lived in Israel, in the town that Jesus grew up in.
Do not call the Israelies terrorists unless you can actually counter the decades of suicide bombers who have killed thousands of Israeli children, mothers, sisters, elderly and clergy without regard for any sort of humanity.
Remember that the Muslim world wants Israel and the Jews eradicated because they feel Jerusalem is their holy city, but centuries before that it was the Christains holy city, however; how many more centuries before was that region Canaan? That was the promised land of the Jews

If you allow terrorists to take over your country, you had better be prepared for what will happen. It is hard to sympathize with terrorists who killed and killed and killed when it happens to them.

Was it allright to try to destroy Israel? Israel tried in every way possible to live peacefully with its neighbors. They are surrounded on all sides with countries that harbor terrorists. From the day Israel was established, the attacks began. The Israelis even bulldozed their own settlements and gave the land to the Arabs, but nothing short of the annihilation of Israel would satisfy them. The suicide bombers got on Israeli school buses and went into the market places. Missiles were aimed at resorts and cities and hundreds more were poised on the border. Israel even built a wall but it didn't keep the terrorists out. When 2 soldiers were kidnapped, Israel had enough. The did what the US should be doing; they went after the terrorist's headquarters and training grounds. These are the same terrorists that attacked us on 9/11 and have attacked Britain, India and other countries. Israel is the only ally of the US in the Middle East and the only democracy in the region. They have a right to defend themselves.

in case you ever took precalculus or another math class which covers residences of applications, you the thanks to verify the area of the functionality. between the pink flags to look out for is once you divide by 0. on your expression, even as x = 3, the denominator is 0. to that end, the area is each and every selection beside 3. regrettably, the selection you attempt to plug in (x = 3) is the purely selection that would not artwork in this functionality. to make certain this common hand, you0 can graph this functionality on a TI-80 3. in case you zoom in on the point of the graph at x = 3, you'll locate there's a sparkling spot there! it is because, as reported above, there purely isn't a cost of the expression at x = 3. you should claim, properly it feels like the answer might want to be 6, searching on the graph. this theory of what the answer "might want to be" is what limits are all about. The values of the functionality on the left and proper of x = 3 all pass in the route of 6 as you capture up with and closer. So we are saying the reduce as x is going to three is 6. So regardless of the very undeniable actuality that it's not technically the answer, 6 is your proper selection. 0 purely isn't staggering in any experience. the very proper answer is to assert that the expression is undefined at x = 3. This situation illustrates why 0/0 is named indeterminate. in this example, 0/0 in a way equals 6. the theory that 0/0 can equivalent something is actual the essence of calculus.

it is sad that innocent people are getting hurt in the conflict. However, this essay is extremely biased. There is not a single picture of any of the 70+ civilians living in haifa that have been killed by hezballah rockets. Also, these injuries would not have occured if the hezballah guerillas had not used civilians in lebanon to hid from israeli airstrikes and soldiers. the hezballah soldiers cowardly hid while putting the very people they think they are trying to help in danger. people need to start looking at both sides of the issue instead of reading one article and making judgements.

Hezbollah puts the rockets next to innocent people and shoots them if they try to flee. Those rockets rain down on Israeli killing their children and loved ones. These are specific attacks against civilians. Unlike Hezbollah, Israel does not go out of its way to attack civilians. However, this does not extend to accepting genocide against themselves. Hezbollah and the Lebanese government have made this an us or them situation. They will not stop unless every Jew in Israel is killed or Israel destroys all the rockets. It's deeply regretable that civilians are killed in the process but it is Lebanon's fault, not Israel. Many of those killed have been shot in the back by Hezbollah as they try to flee. Not only is Lebanon guilty of unprovoked war against Israel, they are guilty of heinous war crimes against their own people.

Truly, those in Lebanon are evil beyond belief....killing their own children for use as a propaganda weapon against Israel.

And you are helping them. What does that say about you?

I would say that is probably all true, In war, there are lots of tragedy including children. It is very sad, but that is what happens I guess. I wish there was a way for ALL countries to get along and for all the bad people out there to just vanish, but I guess that is a part of life there is good and bad.

it sucks, but no matter how many people die this will change the opinion of the conservative conglomerate they will just make some bullcrap excuse like'they were harboring terrorist' or 'those who support the ceasment of fire are helping the terrorist', heck Israel can probably Drop nukes like crazy and it will still have its grip on the right wing politicians, we need honest republicans like Eisenhower who does what is right regardless of who he deals with, he was one of the few u.s. presidents to stand up to Israel and Israel actually behaved.
