I know it's a wide subject, I know very little so I don't know how to narrow it down.

Cool first irish person to answer this!Im from dublin but i go to college in galway!Dublin is like any other european city but it does have some great tourist attractions, trinity college, guinness storehouse, phoenix park, the spire, grafton street, james joyce house and countless others!
But galway is breathtaking!when you think of ireland what you usually picture is galway, green fields beautiful screnery..take a place like connemara, its lovely and you should visit it..further south from galway are the cliffs of mohar and i urge you strongly not to miss them on your trip to galway!its the last part of ireland that you see before you hit america!they are the most impressive wonderful sights i have ever seen!
you can google/yahoo Ireland and you can find all this information out yourself..otherwise browse through some past questions on ireland and you can find out even more info without having to waste points!

Well, Im not Irish, but I have been there twice and work with some guys from Dublin on a daily basis. I have really only been to Dublin, and I hear the rest of the country is better. But I can say that Dublin is pretty neat, some great pubs that are packed full every night, mostly friendly people, some neat things to see (Guinnes Brewery, Book of Kells at Trinity University, etc). Lots of traffic though, its a very busy city anymore. The food is horrible, horrible crap though! It all tastes the same- bland!

i'm in Dublin. I could go on and on about the place, but it would be a lot easier if you were more specific in what you wanted to know.
