Whoa, relax...breathe. You have spyware and LOADS of it. Download ad-aware from download.com as well as spybot: search and destroy. I use both of those and they're great. Also, don't forget to upload the add-ons and upgrade both of them regularly.

How you got those porn pop-ups is your own business though....

SPYWARE! get a program called spybot search and destroy. I will swear by this program. See pop-up blockers only block url's, but the problem with you is that you have programs almost like mini-viruses installed on your computer that are make things 1) run slower and 2) making you have horrible porn popups...
another program to look into is "avg anti virus" its totally free and it works better than any program I have come across so far! Its also really easy on your computer so its not as demanding on ram/cpu power as other programs such as norton or mcafee

Sounds like either adware or a virus. Try Mcafee virus cleaner, and get it to search for unwanted programs as well.. There should be some decent freeware online.

If you downloaded anything "Free" off of the internet lately, it likely infected your computer.

If you have a Norton Ghost type of software, you may be able to return your computer to a prvious backup time before this happened.

Good luck!

You have malware and viruses in your computer. Run Ad-Aware SE, Spybot Search & Destroy and c-cleaner on your system. You can safely download these from download.com. (Virus safe site).

Also an ounce of prevention: Get SiteAdvisor from Mcaffe. It's a new safe way to search the net and it let's you know if a site is bad. It's free too, but works best in the FireFox Browser. (Oh yea, get rid of the Internet Explorer. It's a bad browser and the one all the viruses writers use to plague your system).

yeah, that has happened to me before. i found out that my husband had gone to some sites, and it seems that the minute that you go to any of these pages, they ALL send pop-ups on your computer. Try some sort of service that blocks pop-ups. I have bell south service and they block ALL of my pop-ups. I don't have to look at a single one unless I choose to.

Clear you temp files and your cookies. It may help, and get some heavy duty pop up blocker, recently the one built into IE6 has been failing me.
