wood, a slender metal rod, surgical tubing (or a rubber band) a drill, and glue or some sort of cement....i was on an enginering team...GO RAMTECH 59!!! sorry, pointless plug :(

*take a peice of wood and drill a whole about an inch from the edge (this is where you'll put the rod through)
*take a peice of wood and attatch it to one side of the rod...do it to both sides.
*take the surgical tubing and attatch it to the ends of the peices of wood that are attached to the rod..safely secure over lapping the original piece of wood to creat tension

aw geese...im confused in reading that....just take a block and put it under a spoon so that the spoon has the rounded part on the ground or table...put the projectile in the mouth of the spoon and slam on the handle...enjoy as the projectile launches through the air =D

we used to make some cool ones for school. they were a neck of a bottle, chop it off the rest of the bottle, take a strong household rubber glove chop of a finger (not too long) take a elastic band and stretch the rubber glove finger over the drinking end of the bottle bit and secure it with elastic...then use bb pellet's or something like tht,
to use it drop your 'ammo' in, hold the bottle top in one hand(but keep it away from the aiming hole) pull back the finger glove piece and let it go.
