we saw jack shaving his beard and locke..but we never saw any of the girls shave..so how do they do it?

Well, I do not know how the girls do it on Lost but I am pretty sure that if the actresses on the show are asked to grow their armpit hairs for it, they'd probably raise hell. They will only be pacified with higher paychecks so, that's not a win-win situation for all concerned. Hence, I guess the people behind the show just hopes no one among us will notice that teensy weensy detail. hahaha! :)

They don't shave.
They get the sap from the trees - put it on their arm pits - cover with a cloth - and RIP out their hairs.
It lasts 6 weeks and the hair grows back much finer and you don't have a stubble problem.

Probably because most of those people had lives before that right? I mean I have never seen the show but most women these days get waxed so it lasts longer. Other than that, its TV, not real.

They had a lot of supplies from the baggage recovered from the airplane wreckage. Do you remember the big bag of stuff that Sawyer had? There were 150 people on the airplane and each one of them had at least one razor ; that's a lot of razors.

You mean characters? I am guessing most of the ladies had razors packed in their luggage, and we don't see every second of their life on the island. Who knows what they do during the rest of the time.
