Yes, there are still sideshows. Mostly they are traveling shows that appear at colleges and universities.
Jim Rose is the owner of one such show. He appeared as a sideshow performer in the X-Files episode HUMBUG, along with The Enigma, another performer.
These shows seem to have found a new following among people today, but they are nowhere near as popular as they once were.

not really..but in San Antonio Texas they have the Ripley's believe or not museum..i think they have them all over the country..Not enough freak stuff in there... They should have freak shows..that would be cool.
