I believe this is true. You should know this from personal experience, because your questions usually receive a lot of answers.

(And it's not just your avatar (although that would account for a considerable number of the responses by guys). Once people get to know you a bit better they find that you are interesting and well worth knowing. And you do write good questions. So i believe you can expect to continue receiving tons of responses.)

Probably got more answers because they ask good or stimulating questions, which in turn made them well known. Then people may search for the user's questions due to the higher possibility of getting a good question, or one that is well answered.

I think it's all about marketing.

I think people look at the avatar first, then the question, or they simply look for the questions of select people who they think ask good questions.

I changed my picture to an avatar and the number of people answering my questions went down. When I put the picture back, the answers went up.

Funny how that works...

most of the time I merely examine the questions 7 solutions. I take up attention the character of the question. multiple human beings get at here and act the fool, so I merely circulate to the subsequent one in line. do no longer choose somebody because of the fact they coach OR no longer the avatar, as properly it won't even look like them besides...good? desire this facilitates.

yes!!! I think people answer questions of people with different avatars more quickly. I have certain people that I look for their questions. I think a lot of people do the same thing.

I think it's a little bit of both. They ask questions that catch people's eye which makes their s.n. stick out in their mind. If you remember someone has good questions, you tend to look for their questions and answer them. etc.
