Why is it everyone asks for the truth when they dont really want it and if they do why get mad?

dude idk but they rrly need to stop doing that b/c that bugs the crap out of pple.... and honestly they think they want the truth but they dont.

I see what you mean, but not everyone is like that. I know I'm not. I can take criticism well because I know everyone has different opinions and when I post up a question I know I am putting myself out there for all sorts of answers. I say if people are going to get mad and start reporting because they feel offended then they shouldn't post up questions.

They do want the truth -- it makes your relationship with them stronger and more open. But sometimes the truth hurts when it is hit so sudden. That's why you should always be truthful, and it won't be so sudden when you are telling other facts.

We all want the truth, as long as it agrees with what we believe. People like that aren't looking for an answer, they're looking for confirmation. If you don't agree with them, they get defensive. It's very easy to get mad here, you're anonymous.

My father always told me "Don't ask the question if you're not ready for the answer."
It's not that they don't want the truth, they just want to hear that the truth isn't what they think it is. They get angry because they don't hear what they want to hear.

because the truth in our little society is what we want to hear, not technically the truth. those who want to truly hear the truth wont ask. they'll listen
