Jews were integral part of all Muslim sultanate/governments from Spain to India for hundreds of years. Actually there are strong signs of there presence every where in Muslim world from architecture to literature. It's only recently that world politics, cold war, formation of state of Israel by force in Palestine that we see all this Arab Jewish hatred. Jews used to seek refuge in Muslim land from christian persecution, a fact. Jewish heritage where its today was developed all during Muslim protection of them from Christians. You still see Arabic literature and culture has become an integral part of to days Jewish culture. If it wasn't for Israel, Jews are treated with more respect in a Muslim life than in Christian's. Actually Muslim pray and bless the descendants of Abraham including Jews in their 5 daily prayers.

Christian Europeans have had a history of hating Jews because they believe the Jews killed Christ. There has been no such hatred between Christians and Moslums as the beggest rub here is the holy crusades. There are areas where they have all lived together without any problems. All three religions sprang for Abraham.

The second part of your first sentence does not follow your first part.
Historical Christian anti semitism has nothing to do with Arab anti semitism. Thus, it is a non sequitor.

Secondly, who was assuming anything?

Rather, what should be clear is that whatever is "anti semitism" should be clearly labeled "anti semitism". Thus, if there is anti semitism originating from Muslim sources, then it should rightly be labeled as such.
I don't see why one would call it anything else? I also don't see what that has to do with historical or current Christian anti semitism.
