There is actually no real problem between Lebanon and Israel. Lebanon is one of the more liberal countries in the Middle East, at least on paper, and has an almost functioning democracy that gets along with Israel (not great, but better than most of the countries in the middle east).

Hezbollah, on the other hand, is a terrorist group based in Lebanon. It came into existence when Israel and Lebanon were not getting along. Its purpose, depending on who is describing it, is either to keep Israel out of Lebanon or, more recently, the destruction of Israel. But Hezbollah is not just a terror organization. It is also one of the major political parties in Lebanon.

Hezbollah was born when Israel whooped Syria (among other countries) in the 6 day war back in 1967. Syria realized at that time that it could not defeat Israel's military, so it sponsored Hezbollah to antagonize Israel without risking the lives of Syrian soldiers. It is currently funded by Iran and, to a lesser degree Syria. Iran has nearly complete financial control over Hezbollah.

Hezbollah has mostly kept itself to annoying Israel over the past few years. They kidnap people, fire rockets into Israel... but here's the rub: they don't operate from military outposts. Instead, they put rocket launchers inside of houses, using the women and children in the house as human shields against Israeli retaliation. Makes a big mess. Anyway...

THE CURRENT ISSUE IN LEBANON...

After years of Hezbollah's terror attacks, Israel pulled all of it's troops out of Lebanon - this was a year ago. Basically Israel said, look, we're leaving, just stop attacking our people. Lebanon had a free election, a democratic leader came to power and the UN offered all kinds of assistance provided that Lebanon disarm Hezbollah. But Hezbollah was too powerful, and the Lebanese goverment couldn't disarm them. Instead, Hezbollah received more weapons from Iran and Syria - 15,000 rockets, guns, bombs, you name it,

2 weeks ago Hezbollah agents went into Israel and kidnapped 2 soldiers. They wanted to use these 2 soldiers to negotiate a prisoner exchange - 3 Hezbollah terror leaders for the 2 soldiers. Israel looked over at Lebanon and sort of said, "What do you want from us? We stopped fighting you, we left your country and all you had to do was keep your people from committing acts of terrorism. But you didn't do that. You let them get stronger, and now they're attacking our citizens again. Well, if you can't stop them, if you can't crush Hezbollah, then we will." And with that they set off to crush the terror organization based in Lebanon.

It's a little bit like when the US attacked Afganistan. We didn't have any problem with the Afgani people. But we knew that the government - the Taliban - was not going to stop Al Qaeda, and so to protect our country from more terror attacks we went to Afganistan to stop the terror organization.

Israel started out when the brits try for the last time to flex its colonial power by giving the Jew the land that Arab use to live with 5% Jews they call Palestine.

When the Jew decided to infest Palestine, they forcefully remove all Arabs from Palestine just like Hitler do to the Jew in Europe.

Well the Jew wanted revenge so badly, but can't attack the Christians because they are much stronger than they are. So they decided to bully the Arab who is way weaker because of the brits colonialism. The other best bet is the Jew is plans to be just like Hitler, when it is strong enough it just attack everyone and carved this world as it see fits, just like the Nazis.

Just like Hitler they created racial policy which excludes the Arabs the same rights as a Jew. The crime that the Palestine ever did was to be an Arab. The Arab children who do reside in what is called today Israel were not given the same education system as the Jew children.

Just like in Palestine, the Jew has more to gain by controlling Lebanon that is water. Israel weakness as the Jew grows thirstier for water; they seek to control Lebanon to secure the water resource.

Yes it is wrong for Hezbollah and Hamas to kidnap the Jews soldier, but it is also wrong to kick the native Arabs who have been living in peace with the native Jews before Israel was created.

If Hitler's racial policy was condemned by the world, than I ask you this, why does the world tolerate or the Western world tolerates the Jews racial policy against the Arabs?

As unusual because it may look, there is not any longer a huge conflict between both, the conflict is that Lebanon is a weak us of a that enables Hezbollah to nest in it is southern area, on the fringe of Israel, making it conceivable to attack Israel. Escalation is extremely conceivable. Iran is damn its rockets at Israel, as is Syria. those are both international places that could want to be neutralized beforehand any type of normalcy must be generic contained in the middle east. i trust that once Iran joins the fray, Israel has no selection yet to nuke it. So, for Iran its," be careful what you wish for".

The best thing for you to do is to research each area on wikipedia.org and other non-profit information sites.

The news is the last place you should get information since it is all censored and distorted propoganda.

I am actually shocked that the official stance of the US is in support of Isreal simply because they are a democratic nation in the middle east. The majority of their policy actually creates a haven for terroristic societies and ideology to thrive.

Israel enjoys stealing land and murdering people and using American weapons to kill loads of innocent arab children, Israel also murders UN workers such as they did today and Israel also murders Americans such as they did to Rachel Corrie and to the USS Liberty. Israel is a terrorist state.
