My ex-husband and I worked at an outdoor music venue for two years. He was a stagehand, and I worked in catering. That means we both met alot of 'stars', like the groups Poison, Firehouse, ZZ Top, Rod Stewart, Dolly Parton. Michael Bolton, Joe Cocker, Carolos Santana, Hank Williams Jr, Lollapalooza...and many more.
When Carlos Santana came, he wanted "the best Mexican food in the city", so I...yours truly, drove to several Mexican restaurants and got menues, brought them back, ordered what he wanted, then went and picked it up. (Yes...I'm picking up a to-go order for Carlos Santana") LOL...that was a hoot!
But the coolest was the Paul McCartney concert that was nationally televised live. They insisted that EVERYBODY on the staff, eat vegetarian, and Linda supplied recipes for us, in catering to make for everyone.
The security was outrageous, and the amount of equipment, due to it being nationally televised, was phenomenal.
The concert was EXCELLANT, and I got a cool black t-shirt that says "Paul McCartney New World Tour STAFF", along with some other stuff.
How cool is that???

Though I have lived a rather exciting life, I think that deep down the coolest thing I've done is alone, raised two well adjusted, behaved, well mannered, smart sons. I am mom to not only them, but also like a second mother to many of their friends as well. My place is the hangout, and you can always find one of their friends and me talking.

& declining!!
Still had a chance to hang out with
he and his partner for a few hours at a friends house !!
It was very cool !!!!!

This is the only thing I can think of -
I used to have a lot friends who were skydivers (I wanted to jump but my Mom forbid it and I didn't think I should try it behind her back just in case ...) So I used to go in the plane and sit by the door for observation and as they left the plane, I would get a big kiss from each one (well not the girls) - But it was a lot of fun!

Saved a dogs life after some a ss hole hit him and kept going.I stopped picked him up and rushed him to my vet,thankfully i was close to Vestal NY where my vet is,i live in Endicott so i was only 2 mi or so.

I went to Costa Rica! I learned a bunch about another culture and the way that they lived. It taught me a lot!

jumped out of airplanes, climbed mt. washington (feet, not wheels), camped solo in alaska for a month, sailed the bay for a month, gave birth to two beautiful children.
i could die grateful and happy today.
