Yes indeed! Gilbert avg. 29.8 a game last season a led his team into the playoffs. He's only behind Kobe, A.I. and LeBron in scoring and he's a leader. He's one of the best in the NBA today and he's really young.

Arenas have helped his team a great deal last season, not many people know much about him though. To me, he is an excellent pint guard for the Wizards, and I agree that he is under-rated.

Depends on who are you compare with.

If compare with Leborn and Kobe, I really think that he is under - rated. His importance for the team is the same as Leborn and Kobe did. However, he is far under-rated by the media.

If compare with other cores players such as Pierce or V. Carter, he is not under - rated. At least his salary and frame are both simliar to other cores.

Anyway, Arenas is still an excellent player and playing an important role in Wizards.

Well, I'm tempted to say yes, based on these answers given, but until he wins in the playoffs, the answer is no. He could average 30 a game in the reg. season, but if he can't lead his team beat the one man show of LeBron James, he has some work to do, more leadership-wise than on his game.

Definately

i believe he is over-rated because he has too much hype about him, because he can't step up when his team needs him. in the cleveland - washington series in the playoffs, he wasn't able to stop lebron nor was he able to score or pass for the points.

VERY much so...he should ask for a trade to go to LA....then maybe people wouldn't mock him.
