If you are, do you speak Cherokee also?

I am half cherokee and half creek. I don't speak either of these languages fluently. The cherokee language is alot easier to learn I think. They're both part of the Muskegee Nation. You can go online and find some sites but it is better to actually write to the reservations and they can help you find the materials you need. CD's books, etc. Are you Native or just curious?

im a good 3% cherokee. i think.
my great to the 9th power grandpa was this famous indian dude whos name starts with an s and is incrediblly obvious but i cant remember it and made like the first indian to english translator or whatever.
maybe hes not cherokee

It has been an oral tradition in my family that we are part Cherokee on my Grandmother's side. I wish I could learn more about my culture and would love to learn the language.

Yes---only 15% but that's enough for the effect
No--don't speak the language but I remember my great grandma and her brother speaking this stuff like a pair of machine guns in battle

my roommate is cherokee like 1/4, but no she doesn/'t speak it, spanish though

i'm part cherokee. . . never thought about speaking it, though. wouldn't recognize it if i heard it, unfortunately

I'm part, don't know exactly how much. But I'm learning how to speak the language. It is such a beautiful language, everyone should try to learn it.
