Whenever I see a barefoot person in public I think:
" I wonder if they have tough feet."
" How dirty/black are their feet at the end of the day?"
And finally:
"I hope they wash their feet before they get into bed"
It is gross in a way because to me the word public is like a synonym for dirty.
It's your decision to go barefoot, why should anyone else care?
But then again there ARE signs that say its required to wear shoes in the store, so that may have been why.

well, I guess the girl did not find anything in her Standara Operational Procedure guide. I guess people will say all sorts of things till a fashion designer or a movie star announces "Barefoot" is sexy.... or a research unit says barefoot decreases the risk of cancer. Just think about it... all those concered about hygiene and germs on barefoot would not be worried when people wear those bell bottoms which literally sweep the entire mall carrying germs on their pants.

you might not sue but there are people out there if they can get into a store bare footed they look for something to step on so they can sue. I understand people like to be barefooted so do i but its the stores policy not to let you in to cover there *** they dont wanna see you get hurt and will do anything to protect you and there company

I would love to walk barefoot in public, but, because of ridiculous idiots who HAVE sued over stupid stuff that shoul've been their fault in the first place, it's a rule to wear shoes in public places. They shouldn't sue if it's their decision to walk barefoot, but it has happened, or there wouldn't be a rule.

ok i'm a school graduate with a fifteen twelve months occupation heritage in shopper credit and Finance. I honestly have a outstanding fiance, a daughter, a house, pets... the similar old livable existence. I have a good time with going to community theatre productions, antiquing, fishing and doing organic world images. i'm also a barefooter. Now, had you no longer established the above issues about me, might want to you purely imagine i changed into very few trashy man or woman who gave no longer a hoot about my own own visual charm and hygeine? Or... might want to you purely imagine that hi, perchance she only likes going barefoot? And what the blue hell does being a barefooter ought to do with BBW's? you imagine purely large women favor to pass barefoot? Wow. That changed into prejudiced.

I would say "hmm, I wonder what happened". I've done it myself. I lost my shoes so, hey, why not walk in barefoot and buy myself some new ones... and i did it, no problem.
I dont think suing is what she worried about, i bet she couldn't care less about their interests. She probaby thought you were some homeless person or something...
I believe nobody saw me when I did it. And It was kind of fun actually, I would do it again if there was a need...

Oh my yuck.... why in the world would you walk into that place barefoot? Major germ infestation, especially walmart! If I see a person in the store barefoot, I think "hmmm must've stumbled out of their trailer to buy more beer and cigarettes."

I think its just socially unacceptable and kind of looked at as an unclean habit. Walking around in nature barefoot is one thing, but walking around in public places is quite another. Cleaning chemical and human traffic make those floors NASTY. There are hundred of chemicals and bacteria on any given public floor that you don't want in your system.
Its a custom. Deal with it.

Many people enjoy going barefoot. No big deal. Especially in the summer. Still stores know they could be held liable if anyone gets cut or anything.
