He isn't per se. Even devout Christians shouldn't believe Jesus is better than Buddah, Allah, Krishna, Shiva, any other deity. I thought their religion was based on love and acceptance (as most are) and it's just plain wrong to feel that your personal god figure is more important/better/more powerful than any other. A Christian can't say that Jesus was better than the others because he died for their sins and because the others didn't do that. They each did something special, so special and miraculous, that people decided to form a religion or philosophy based around them. So, really, all dieties are equal because they were/are great enough to create and sustain a religious following.

This question is a really deep one. In orther to have a good answer one must consider aspects from religion to faith. But to be quick; nothing really, nothing makes him better since there are some chances that they're all the same, or....if you believe in ny of them i guess you does not believe on any other. However the important thing here is that religion's main purpose and any God's purpose is to set some moral rules and an example to follow. Religion creates faith and faith helps people come out from great troubles. If you analize it the basic elements of almost EVERY RELIGION is: do not treat others like you do not wnat to be treated, do good on this life and anyhow you'll be rewarded (heaven, nirvana, reencarnation on a superior entity etc.) do bad and you'll be punished anyhow after death; and many other common things that have in common various religions. On the other hand is popularity, Jesus is not better than others, but in the western culture many people belives in. Why do they believe in? The truth is that because ALL the american continent was conquered and colonized by Europe, so, every contineng inherited many things, religion is one of them, that is the reason why almost all people believes in Jesus in the american continent. However in the oriental culture things are way much different. So, it is really no better, what you belive is the best, if you do not believe, that is the best to.

That's a great question and there are many answers but the one i find most useful is the fact that all the gods were never seen but Jesus was and so was Buddha but Buddha stumbled into being a god but Jesus was there to say i am the way the truth and the light so Buddha was not made a god he was thought of as a god and Jesus was made a god and thought of as a god!

The person who believes' faith, Jesus is better to a christian the same way Allah is better to Muslims....it's all a matter of opinion.
For a neutral believer, I don't think there is anything better about any one of them. (although Buddah is the least violent of the lot so I would side with him

Jesus is not better than Buddha. They are the same Holy Spirit of God in two different bodies with two different personalities appearing to mankind in two different places in the world at two different times in history to reaffirm the previous Messenger's Spiritual Teachings which do not change from religion to religion, and to bring the Social Teachings (which DO change from religion to religion) for the problems of the day in which they come.

Allah is the Arabic word for God--not another God--just as Dios is the Spanish name for God. Different name, same God.

There is no such thing as a "god figure". God has no figure. God is an Unknowable Essence. The only way to know Him is through Sabean, Krishna, Moses, Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, Baha'u'llah. They are as mirrors which reflect the qualities of God, just as a perfectly polished mirror reflects the qualities of the sun, such as heat (love) and light (knowledge).

Just as the sun does not come down to the earth (it would be too powerful, burn everything up), God, also, does not come to earth, (same reason--too powerful), but sends his Divine Messengers (Sabean, etc.) to teach man how to carry forward an ever-advancing civilization. (Sort of like using a step-down generator.)

If God spoke to me, I'd probably die of a heart attack; but, if Jesus, or Baha'u'llah spoke to me, He'd be in human form. I could relate to Him.

I must say that it is nothing else but your BELIEF in JESUS which makes you feel that HE,s the best. You know, when we love someone we feel that, that the person is best among all. We not even allow our inner self to look for another person!! This is something that happens to all.

I was not at all surprised by your question coz for me my LORD SHIVA is the one over whom I rely blindly. He is the best for me.

But over all your JESUS and my LORD SHIVA are one, guiding us to love others and respect others.
