do most colleges have class the day before thanksgiving?

my boyfriend and i want to go to new york over thanksgiving and we are trying to plan around his classes. does The University at Austin have classes on Weds and if so do most Prof. cancel them anyway?

The day before Thanksgiving, yes, there are classes. There are no classes on the day after Thanksgiving though

In my experience classes are held the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

And No, professors didn't cancel classes.
