It's not a secret anymore.... here are my beauty secrets and the natural way to be beautiful.
Daily regimen for healthier skin
Healthier skin is dependant on a balanced diet, hydration, adequate physical exercise, protection from the sun and a daily skin care regimen. You can follow four easy steps to improve your skin's health.
Step One -- Cleanse. Cleansing you skin and removing dirt, makeup and other impurities that clog your skin is essential. You should cleanse your skin at least twice a day with a mild, non-irritating cleanser. Your cleanser should not strip your skin of its natural oils and it should easily rinse away.
Step Two -- Tone. Using a toner rehydrates, cools, nourishes and refreshes your skin. Toners remove any remaining traces of dirt, makeup or oil you cleanser may have not removed. It's good to use a toner that is alcohol-free, as alcohol may dry your skin.
Step Three -- Exfoliate. Exfoliants help remove dead cells that accumulate on the surface of your skin. Make sure the exfoliant is not granular so you do not damage new skin. Exfoliants with alpha or beta hydroxy acids improve the skin's rejuvenation process, eliminating fine lines and wrinkles.
Step Four -- Moisturize. Just as the rest of you body requires hydration and nutrients, so does your skin. Your skin should be treated with a daytime moisturizer that provides a broad spectrum sunscreen daily. At night, using a more intense moisturizer helps to rebalance and normalize your skin as you sleep.
These four basic steps can firm and restore your skin's natural suppleness. Each step is also beneficial for any skin type. You can choose products that are specific to your skin's special needs to achieve healthier skin.
* Best Beauty Tips for Free *
Beauty Tip 1 : For subtly sparkly cheeks, swipe a thin layer of shiny powdered pink eye shadow over your powder blush. (Don't try this with gel/cream blush or it will come out streaky).
Beauty Tip 2 : Wash off your makeup before retiring to bed otherwise the panicles will clog your skin-pores preventing the skin from inhaling fresh air.
Beauty Tip 3 : Carry a small powder compact with you during the day for shine emergencies, to touch up on your makeup and to extract yourself from boring party conversations.
Beauty Tip 3 : Use foundation only on clean skin. Do not try to give a 'touch' to a stale make-up with foundation.
Beauty Tip 4 : If you have dry skin, choose a lanolin mixed foundation cream.
Beauty Tip 5 : If you have a small mouth, draw outer outline with dark shade lipstick and fill in light shade lipstick with a lip liner.
Beauty Tip 6 : If you have a broad mouth, use light shade lipstick.
Beauty Tip 7 : Use a lip brush or your pinky finger to blend lipstick and lip liner together. You should not be able to pinpoint where the two connect. Blending will also help keep the colour on your lips last longer.
Beauty Tip 8 : Hair begins to look shaggy and uneven about a month after a haircut, so regular visits to the hairdresser or barber are a necessary part of good basic hair care.
* Natural Beauty - Enhance The Looks You Have *
Visualization
You need to visualize the specific changes if you truly want to change your look. What will any improvements you make look like? See yourself with a streamlined body, healthier hair, clearer skin, majestic posture. These changes are realistic and attainable. Stay away from goals you'll never reach.
Don't compare yourself with someone you've seen on the TV or movie screen or on the cover of a magazine. Accept your uniqueness and capitalize on it.
Mirrors Boost Attitude
The quickest attitude adjustment is through reflection. Women who have low self esteem often avoid mirrors like the plague. However, mirrors can become a big ally.
Mirrors can tell you how you're progressing, in those little ways that may not be noticeable to the casual eye. It is the ultimate objective eye.
Do Everything Better
The way you use your beauty products will make all the difference in results.
For instance, try to duplicate what you see and feel your hair is shampooed at a salon. The product is always handled, never poured directly on hair.
Add a massage to your scalp when washing. While rinsing, lift your hair away from your scalp for about two minutes until it squeaks.
Discover The Virtues of Vanity
Confident women enjoy experimenting as a way of relieving stress and boost morale. Women who care about how they look are fascinating to watch, and teach us about taste and glamour. Vanity is a positive virtue, allowing us to fix our heads as well as our looks.
Look Pretty Amazing
Don't worry about looking pretty. Look pretty amazing show the world you care about yourself. Real beauty celebrates individuality. Rather than running around looking for beauty in pricey external products, discover within yourself. Make the most of what you have. You'll learn to like yourself and that will spark a light within.
Do One Thing For Yourself Everyday
Make yourself do it. It's the ultimate act of self-respect. Soak in the bubble bath or read an inspiring book. These little pleasures allow you to feel special. You can fake it if you, until you actually feel deserving of it. Whatever you choose, follow the action by writing down waht you did and how it made you feel. Make it your own "attitude file". Include stories, quotes from friends and photographs that have made you feel good about yourself.
Project Beauty
Feel good, feel pretty and that's just what the world will see. If you feel ugly, that's what the people will see. Try to look as good as you can. There are ways to live in beauty without being obsessive about it.
Find Supportive Friends
What people say, whether intentional or not, make us feel good or bad about ourselves. Look for people who make you feel good when you're down. This person will give you compliment. If you've done something different or if you're wearing something new, they will notice it. Keep this compliments and they will build your self esteem.
Listen To Your Inner Voice
Each of us has a voice inside our head that will give us advice. This is like a therapist. It will guide us in the right direction. It will calm us down, cheer us up and even help us figure out why we're overeating or not bothering to iron our clothes. The problem is that we often don't take time we need to hear this important information. Schedule some quiet time in a leisurely bath or walk, or even while putting on your makeup. Treat this intuition as an inner cheering section.
Take A Break
At least twice a day, set aside five minutes to recheck your make-up, hair, posture and clothing. No matter how impeccably you started out your day, a touch is both necessary and warranted. Take some deep breaths to renew and restore your appearance.
* The Natural Way: Rejuvenating Treatments for Skin and Hair *
Hippocrates once said, “The natural way is the only way”. As we venture into the new millennium, many people are moving toward the natural lifestyle recommended by the Father of Medicine thousands of years ago. Organic foods are becoming increasingly available and consumed. Various alternative therapies including Reiki, Breathwork and Acupuncture are quickly emerging as alternatives to more traditional allopathic medical treatments. Often, people become so harried trying to naturally achieve and maintain balance within their core that they forget to take care of their “shell”.
Here is a challenge that will help you reduce stress and save money while bringing the rejuvenation needed during the holidays. It will require some resolve on your part; adding five items to your grocery cart, and taking an hour a week to spend on yourself. The following recipes are designed to combat the ill effects of harsh winter weather on your face, hair, lips and body, without costing a fortune, or requiring hours of hunting down ingredients and making concoctions. (Each recipe has only three steps!)
Your challenge is to spend a little time each week treating your body to one (or all) of these treatments. You will look and feel better on the outside, which will make you glow from the inside.
On your next trip to the food market, you will need to buy the following items:
1 Avocado - contains Vitamins A, C, and E, iron, potassium, niacin, pantothenic acids; unsaturated fatty acids stimulate the skin’s of production of natural oil
2 Small bananas - contain tryptophan, an amino acid, potassium, and Vitamins A, B, C and E which restore the elasticity of the hair
1 small bottle Olive oil - Hippocrates called olive oil “the great therapeutic”; provides sunscreen protection, absorbing 20% of the sun’s rays
Orange essential oil - soothes and restores the spirit; is a skin conditioner and soothing agent
1 brick of beeswax - melting point is 145°F; natural animal wax from the comb of the honey bee; works as a binder and protective barrier from wind and sun
Face
Tropical Citrus Mask
If you want to avoid lots of clean up, before applying this mask cover your face with cheesecloth (with holes cut out for eyes and mouth).
Mix together: 1 ripe banana, 1 tsp. Olive oil, 1 drop Orange essential oil.
Smooth over face and leave on for 15 - 20 minutes.
Rinse off with tepid water. Smooth on a rich moisturizer.
Hair
Mayan Hair Mask
Ancient Mayan Inca and Aztec women believed that avocados fed the skin from the inside and outside. Make sure you save the avocado pit, setting it in a place where it can dry out.
Mix together: ½ ripe avocado, 1 tbsp. olive oil, ½ small banana and 1 egg yolk.
Gently massage onto hair and scalp and cover with a shower cap.
Leave on 1 hour and rinse thoroughly with warm water. Shampoo as usual.
Lips
Honey Orange Lip Balm
If you like your lip balm to have a thinner, glossier consistency, use more olive oil. If you like a thicker, creamier feel, use less.
Heat 2 tbsp. Chopped beeswax in a double boiler until melted. Remove from heat. Slowly pour ⅓ cup olive oil into beeswax and stir to mix.
Add 1 ½ tbsp. honey and 5 drops Orange essential oil. Stir continuously to mix until cool.
Pour into a clean container with a lid. Tightly seal.
Body
Avocado & Banana Scrub
The pit of the avocado needs to be dried for 3 - 5 days before it can be ground for this recipe.
Grind dried avocado pit until pieces are very fine (placing it in a sealed plastic bag and hammering it will work). Mix with ½ banana and olive oil to make a thick paste.
Rub gently over skin - do not use too much pressure, as the pit will naturally exfoliate!
Rinse off in a warm shower

All women who wear make-up KNOWS for a fact that eyeliner IS CRITICAL on how you end up looking, it can make you look really hot, or it can make you look like you're just plain crazy.
So you want to control how it looks all day, because sometimes it gets into the creases of your eyelids and the corners. That's EW. You dont want that, not attractive at all.
To avoid that nastyness, this is what you should do aight, step by step:
1. APPLY EYESHADOW FIRST.
(Use 2 shades, one light or soft for your skin color, and one darker, but not too dark, they should be similar of course.)
Apply the light one first like how you usually apply it, AND apply some lightly on the creases and crevices where the eyeliner usually ends up.
2. Apply eyeliner, not too much on the top, but just enough to cover up your lid. Dont cover your lid all the way up.
3.Blend the second eyeshadow in with everything else. Feel the bone over your eye and under your brow? yes touch it feel it. lol, thats a great place to put the second shade of eyeshadow on, just under it and over a little, but not too much over it.
And there, looks pretty nice, huh? You're eyeliner will last much longer now, the eyeshadow keeps it dry, and it wont get all in your eye creases anymore. Hot stuff. ;)
If it doesnt look so hot, and turns out your just some lil 12 year old girl, then keep practicing and dont over do it, start out light, until you have more experience. lmao

to get bouncy hair with loads of volume add velcro rollers to wet/damp hair(never dry). Either blow dry the rolled hair or let it air dry. If you blowdry remember to go in the direction of the hair to prevent fly aways. Once the hair is 100% dry remove the rollers & brush out the curl. What you've got is straight hiar with lots of volume.
If you have dyed red hair here's my secret to keeping your color longer. Try not to wash your hair daily & when you do wash it use shampoos & conditioners specifically for red hair. Wash your hair in slightly warm to cool water(think of clothes being washed on the delicate cycle). Try not to thermal style to often(blowdrying, ironing etc.). If you straighted your hair try the tip above.
If you want anymore tips feel free to ask

Learn to accept, appreciate, and love the person you see in the mirror everyday. This is truly the only way you can be happy with yourself. Everything else is just a cover.

Add some baking soda to your shampoo. It will help get rid of the icky build-ups that sometimes even some shampoos and conditioners leave behind.

Before you put on any makeup, lightly pat your face with your hands for a minute or two. It makes the makeup blend in better with your skin.

I always wear two different eye shadows. The bottom one is usually a color, while the top one is a neutral. My eyes stand out that way.
