You have to find out why you are procrastinating? Are you afraid of the outcome? Is it something you don't want to do, but you have to do? Think of procrastination as a wall on the outside of a castle, you can't get in the castle until you you figure out where the door is. If you keep procrastinating you will never get to the inside of the castle.....

Do things in smaller steps so it doesn't seem like you have to rush all of it at once. By planning ahead and taking these little strides you'll get the work done and not even realize that you're doing it! Don't forget! Make these tasks fun and exciting! Also, plan ahead and stick to your schedule, make consequences if you miss a task (no pop for a week :o), and trust me soon enough you'll want to get this done!

I think when you have a bunch of little things that are not done it becomes overwhelming. We end up thinking about all the stuff we need to do nothing. So now when I think oh I didn't get to the post office, grocery store, whatever I get up and do one task. Return phone calls, return books. Just start cleaning the clutter mentally and physically. Make a list of what needs to be done at night before you go to bed. Make sure you follow the list (at least try) during the day. Keep your tasks broken down enough so that you feel like doing them, but not so much that you spend too much time making lists.
Sometimes this works for me if I don't get too overloaded.

lol...i have the same problem....I develop a plan to help me stop procrastinating (such as the list thing) but then I procrastinate on implementing it! Good Luck

My friend is the same way she makes out lists of every thing she needs to do that day then she justs gets them done before anything else, it sounds silly but it works for her.

think of a person you hate or love. say someone like Magmatrax, Lord of Khorne (evil) just kicked your dog in the croch. You'd want to get back at him rite? So use that HATRED and use it to get off your *** and do something. Same with the person you love, just without hating them and wanting to kill them.
it makes perfect sense.ud have to be a retard to not get it!!!

keep going for two weeks then it will be easier.
Maybe start with doing small things at first to get in the habit and ingrain in your head that it feels great to accomplish things.
