I had a dream not that long ago that my brother, who I don't really get along well with and talk to very often, died, and I was attending his funeral. I woke up sobbing. It made me want to rekindle our relationship, because this life ends all too quickly, and I'd hate to squander what time we have together.
I also have dreams about someone trying to hurt my son, but I think that's because I have an intense fear that someone/something is going to harm my child and I'll be helpless to stop it. I think every mother has those fears and they manifest themselves in our subconscious through our dreams.

I have not dreamed of their demise, what I dream is of being in a funeral home. 3 days to a week later someone in my family dies. This has happened twice

yes, because my family and I have "issues"...my family on both sides is riddled with mental illness and it has created much dysfunction/calamity....by the way the dreams fall into the category of "nightmares".

Yes, I do too..and I also worry constantly that the dream was some premonition...I know its paranoid but I cant help it.

YEAH, I'VE HAD DREAMS HAUNT MY WHOLE DAY TO WHERE I REMEMBER STUFF I HAVEN'T THOUGHT ABOUT IN A LONG TIME GOOD AND BAD, IT KINDA CREEPS ME OUT BECAUSE I GET SO ANALYTICAL ABOUT IT.
