My system tools are gone, including my recycle bin. I've tried manythings to fix it but have no clue what to do next. Any body got a clue?

I'm not sure how you lost'em in the first place but you may want to try restoring your computer to an earlier date when you did have them.

Disappeared icons?
Right click on empty desktop, select "Arrange Icons by,..." and then "Show Desktop Icons"

if icons disappeared try this Right click on empty desktop->select "Arrange Icons by,..." ->"Show Desktop Icons".
if its corrupted the try reinstalling the windows.....
