There have been several London bridges. The Medieval one (which had houses and shops on it) burnt down in the Great Fire of London (1666). A new one was built a few years later, but this was removed and sold in the 20th century and was transported to Lake Havasu where it still resides. A New London bridge was built, and is still standing.
Tower Bridge is something completely different. It was built in the 1880s, and was (until the Dartford bridge was built in the 1980's, many miles further towards the sea) the closest bridge to the sea. This is why it was built to raise and lower. It was seawards of the docks, and ocean going ships are too large to go through the conventional river bridges. It was quite a feat of engineering.
Currently, there is a bridge called London Bridge (which is not very interesting), Tower Bridge (which most foreigners seem to think is London bridge, for some reason) and numerous other bridges across the Thames in London. Incidentally, London Bridge was the only bridge across the river in London until the 1700's.

Yes. Then they built Tower Bridge, then sold the old London bridge to some town in Arizona.

No, it didn't fall down. It was dismantled and sold to American, Robert P McCulloch. He moved it to Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
