i have brown hair and brown eyes but i want blue eyes so they can stand out

No. I'm an optician, I work with eye doctors. To be totally honest with you (as I cannot be with patients) I have NEVER seen blue contacts look right on a brown eyed person. They look very fake, plus when you blink, they ride up & can obscure your vision. I have seen greens & lighter hazel type browns look good, but the blue ones always look kinda hazy, almost like cataracts.

I say YES defiantly go for it, it will look beautiful. I love to wear different color contacts and I also have brown hair and brown eyes.
Don't listen to all these other people, they don't know what they're talking about blue eyes with dark hair is GORGEOUS!!! =)

My sister just asked the same thing today, and like you...she has brown hair/brown eyes. I told her that her natural eye color looks beautiful, and yours probably does too! It's really not worth the trouble. Love what you have!

I have brown hair and hazel eyes. I sometimes wear light or dark blue contacts. It's fun, so why not?

definitely not. an ex-gf of mine got them and she had brown eyes and they just looked really freaky. the blue part of the contact couldn't cover up the entire brown part of her eye, so it looked like she had two-tone eyes. Unless the ones you are looking at would completely cover up the brown, it would just be more scary than striking.

No. Brown eyes go best wish your skin tone and hair, and people can tell that you are faking your eye color if they get close enough. Besides, brown eyes have their own unique charm.

I don't see anything wrong with blue contacts on someone like you, but if you get them, do it for yourself. Don't feel like you have to have blue eyes to be beautiful.

since ur hair is brown i would say get grey or green instead they look more natrual. trust me i wear em everyday prescribed but still they look awesome and so much more natrual ive worn blue before and they dont look so good, u can tell theyre super fake!

sure and if u dont like them u can always just get regular ones....... but fyi people will consider u somewhat "fake" for this cuz when u take ur contacts out, ur eyes will be a totally different color....... thats just wierd to me

NO. Color contacts can mess with your eyes. Thats what my friend who has them says
