Sure, many years ago, I received one, and it was "put 1$ in an evelope and send it to 7 (I think, or 10 people on the list above) and put your name and address at the bottom". The classic pyramid. At the time we used to send letters by mail, imagine.... Of course I did'nt send a thing..., now I have 10$ more and 1 hoax less on me.

Yes. A few years ago. We did receive a few checks but then it kinda fizzled out.
