Ok, I am 13- 14, and I have no boyfriend. I am not mean or bossy. I am a little on the quiet side and shy. Do you boys not like tomboys.

I go out to my farm every night and work on breaking my horse. ( i break my horses on my own) I feed the cows. I work on our alfalfa business on the weekends. My favorite smells are alfalfa chaff, sweet corn just starting to tastle, and horses. Oh, i REALLy like to ride on a tractor. Does it make a difference i am stronger than most girls?

I just wonder if me being a tomboy makes a difference in boys liking me? what do you think?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a tomboy. My first love was one : ). However, it's not at all strange in any way to be 13 almost 14 and not have a boyfriend. There will be many many boys who will like you, don't worry about that.

What does make a difference in boys liking you is the way you act: your attitude, the way you carry yourself... basically your personality. Be nice, mature, caring, and outgoing and you'll be pretty well set.

Also, be careful not to fall into acting out a stereotype. Always be yourself, dont feel obliged to act a certain way or do certain things because you consider yourself a tomboy.

You are 13 most boys at that age are still interested in sports. Give it time. Most of the girls I new that we tomboys ended up being the most dated girls at 16 when boys are more interested in girls.

Enjoy yourself keep doing what your doing. Guys will find you and you don't want to change just to make boys happy cause then you'll never be happy.

For me, there is no difference in gender when choosing friends. What matters the most are attitude, character and personality.
It doesn't matter if you are a tomboy, but if you are the type that likes to act strong when you actually is weak, you'll get it from behind or front.

If you act true to yourself about who you are, people will respect you, and like you, doesn't matter your gender. If you are asking about relationship, well...

Actually i fell for a tomboy before. I mean... her haircut is damn short, and no, she doesn't act like a man. She's very soft spoken, just that she likes to keep her hair short. Now if you may ask, why i fell for her. It was because of her tenderness and her beauty in her eyes, not her over all appearance. She 's not that 'flat', if you know what i mean. And that was why i fell for a tomboy before - a tomboy that is appearance wise, not attitude, not character.

No matter what, be true to yourself and keep it real.
