Well, my sweet 16 is in one month. I have a fairy tale theme for my party, I have a cute dress and a tiara and everything like that... I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas of fun food to serve that went along with a fairy tale theme, not just regular chips and crackers. Also, what are some fun games that we could play, that follow the theme? And another thing... party favors, what are some ideas for the favors? I don't want to just give girl things like jewelery or makeup, because there will be boys too. Also, my party is going to be in my backyard, where there is a big in-ground pool and plenty of room for running around, setting up food or games, or dancing. Any ideas would be appreciated!

well you should put flower petals everywhere. for the food get pina coladas, strawberry with chocolate, whipped cream, steak...
tell evryone to wear a bathing suit so they can swim
if its at night put some cute little lights and get some good music
for the gifts give everyone a chocolate rose with a little slip that says your name and the date of your party or a sparkly little sac with chocolate candies

You should defiently decorate the yard with white christmas lights. it will make it look like a starry night. As far as food you could make cookies in different shapes from fairy tales. You could also decorate the food with edible glitter that you can buy at party stores. You could also have normal food, but in mini sizes, to make them look cute.
For favors you could make girl and guy favors (just put them in different bags/boxes. For girls just get things that you talked about, jewelry and makeup. For guys get toy swords and mini colonge bottles. You could put candy in both bags.
For more ideas on games and decorations visit these websites. Some of them are for little kids, but they may be helpful.

For food fruits dipped in chocolate. For party favors, give out candy, lil' stuffed animals, your number if they're close to you,and thank-you notes for them coming to your party.Make or buy cute little bags to put your party favors in so the guests will be able to carry their stuff home. Not sure what you can do about your yard.
