Figure out who your personal hero is and write about that person. If the person is important to you, the essay will be good. If you just pick someone you think the school will like, the essay will not be as good.

A true hero gives is life for a cause, for the people and for the future of his people. If i had to pick one person it would be the man who first took a stand against greed, Tierney, and didn't let anyone thwart his dreams. As of yet he doesn't exist but he will one day that i can assure you, but until then go with president gorge Washington. he was the best president, the best man with the best morals, and he was the most nobles man most widely known. we need another president like that.

well . . . some of the expected, but good, ones are:
your dad (or male parental figure), God, a teacher, etc.
an interesting approach, though, would be to write about a super hero, you would have to make your reason mature, of course. It would be creative and catch their eye, maybe even get a chuckle out of them.
