There are wild geckos running all over the outside of my house. Sometimes one gets in every now and then when i open the door. I know all about they help eat bugs blah blah blah. Where are they during the day though? I always see them at night.

geckos are nocturnal so they are probably hidden under rocks and in crevices during the day.

Same problem. I have Geckos too. Last night I just saw one. If you have a dog or cat, let them chase the gecko. Or get a broom and sweep it up and take it out. Or maybe onpen the window and it will run out.

Do you have a cat? If not, you should get one. They chase them all over the place, usually play with them, but at least cats keep them cornered so you know the geckos won't end up in your bed.

Geckos are nocturnal. during the day they hide in small crevices and sleep. at night they are hunting which is why they try to come inside. They don't bite and are better than having spiders in your house, in my opinion. :-) Live and let live.

Some are cooked in a skillet with onions,garlic and a little olive oil.Stir fry for 3min. and serve over rice.Garnish and Voila! A headache was just turned into a healthy meal for the family.Bon Appettit!

You are so lucky-would love to have some at my house but nary a one. They are hiding during the day for hose that eat them hunt during the day. Won't tell you where to find them for an afraid your intentions may not be honorable.

Just buy the insurance! They'll go away after that. Same thing happened to me last summer.

Offer them a good rate on car insurance if they go away.
If that does not work offer them fish and chips.

they are hiding from the sun (and hot dry air?) in all sort of crevices sleeping or waiting for their evening feast.
i hope you dont harm them, they are so cute and funny..
