okay i like this guy and on the bus he flirts with me all the time, but during skool hes always insulting me and those r the only times we talk. and he lives in my neighborhood so i get to see him occasionally out of school, yet he never seems to notice me if he passes my house on his bike when im outside. except for wen hes with his brother, then he just calls me a loser. 1 time i even had my friend go ask him if he liked me and he said that he would never like someone like me.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, have you seen A Walk to Remember? I hope so. If not, there's this guy who thinks he is all cool and bad and whatever. He ends up needing help, so he asks this girl who everyone thinks is a weirdo. She helps him, and they basically get along when they are alone together. But at school, he is the biggest jerk towards her. Ignoring her, being mean, all that stuff, and it's only in front of his friends. But you know what? He falls in love with her!
I think it's kinda the same situation. I don't know how old this guy is or how old you are or at least what grade you're in, but I'm guessing that he has just hit puberty or something. If he isn't macho enough yet to not act like Mr. Tough Guy in front of others but is fine with you alone, then wait for him to come around; I bet he has a huge crush on you.
And isn't a sign of love... denial?

He's confused about what he wants, so he's giving the same conflicting signals to you and everyone else because he's conflicted inside.
Next time he flirts with you, get up really close to him and say "What do you want, [insert name]?" in a really quiet, seductive voice so no one else can hear. PATIENTLY wait for an answer. His answer will give you a good indication of his intentions, along with the clear signal that he is very confused and conflicted. If he answers loudly then he is merely showboating for popularity points. If he answers quietly it's honest and for you alone. good luck.
