Reported on CTV the Israeli armed forces bombed a UN base that has existed for more than a decade . Canadian Soldiers were killed by the order of the Israeli government who's forces destroyed the UN base.

I am not in favour of sending anyone but the Israeli ambasador home it was his government that is responsible and it is him or her that I believe should be politely but firmly placed on a plane home.

This war is hell and expect casualties -not buying it they bombed a UN base and kileed Cdn - that is an act of war .

I am with you. And they also killed a Chinese observer. So I think that China should reciprocate the action to Israel.

To those who are making excuses for Israel, are you saying that Mr. Kofi Annan, UN Secretary-General is a liar? Is Israel greater than the UN and the whole world?

For long time Hezbollah was fighting with USA and entire Western world. Hezbollah has kidnapped and tortured to death U.S. Marine Colonel William R. Higgins and the CIA Station Chief in Beirut, William Francis Buckley without incontrovertible evidence, and overall around 30 other Westerners between 1982 and 1992, including U.S. journalist Terry Anderson, British journalist John McCarthy, the Archbishop of Canterbury's special envoy Terry Waite and Irish citizen Brian Keenan.
Did any of those countries declare a war to Iran, or Syria as sugar daddies for Hezbollah. And those killings and torturing were not accidental.
During the war there are always casualties. IAF did not intentionally aim to Canada or Canadian citizens. Com'on, Israel has enough real enemies. They do not need more problems than they already have.

Would that be the same UN that was supposed to keep Hezbollah out of southern Lebanon?

I am sorry if there were Canadians killed, because you guys deserve better than that. But there have been a whole lot more Israelis killed, and they do have the right to defend themselves.

As I read more and more about this, it seems that they where targeting a building close to where the UN people where. causing it to collapse. I do not think that you or many others know exactly what happened yet. Right now we are hearing NON- official reports that could have come from no-one less then Hezbollah PR machine. HOW do we know? We do not, yet.

May I suggest waiting to find out what really happened rather then to just Hate Israel and support the Innocent Hezbollah. (NOT)

I think, by attacking a UN location, they have declared war on the world, at least by Israel's logic.

Not only did they bomb it, but they continued firing on the location when soldiers and medics tried to help and rescue any survivors.

You can't possibly believe that it was done on purpose? Use common sense, for God's sake. It's war and bad things happen.
