It is often said that Filipinos has a damaged culture that never stand alone but a culmination of different cultures introduced by those who invaded the country. Perhaps, not all are bad for the influences absorbed by the Filipino culture but you can always tell the bad one which definitely reflect a typical Filipino nowadays. I could easily mention the culture of the spaniards I hate most are siesta time,procession, religious belief,saints and too much unproductive time strolling the park and malls The chinos introduced us to corruption and piracy, while the Americans have corrupted the very root of our moraility. The Japanese brought us the meaning of discipline ,brutality and dedication. Perhaps, just like in all the history of many nations only a bloody civil war spearheaded by a true dedicated leader will successfully move the nation forward by expelling all the bad elements dominating our society.

Civil war??? And my husband actually speaks about moving there to open up a business. What province are you from?? In your province do most of the people feel like you and want a civil war?? And part of your problems is communication sorry to tell you this, but ya'll got way tooooo many languages (170 + to be exact) and dialects!! Half of you can't even speak Tagalog...your "official" language. So how do you plan on having a civil war when the majority of you can't even understand each other???
I personally think your problems are:
1. Communications (see above)
2. Your politicians, they ALL seem to be corrupt!!
3. Your racism towards other cultures
4. Your willingness to blame ALL other countries for your problems!!
5. Money & Business's, what does the Philippines have to offer the global market?? (Besides Filipina Bar Girls)

Filipino's have a very strong culture, people just don't see it because the kind of government they have. being a corrupt makes it wrong all the way no matter how many good things you've made.

i guess you can say that to the lowlanders in the phillippines,
but not to us from the mountains..try visiting baguio or benguet or any other place in the cordilleras you can see that our culture is pretty much alive, and by the way we call our selves IGOROTS..
its a name given to us by some people from the lowlands who thinks theyre special because they've been influenced by spanish culture...
you cant blame it to other countries...
It was the lowlanders who embraced the the spanish culture..
and we did just a little bit of the west..

The U.S. and many other nations sent tons of money and other support to the P.I., and if you can recall...when they were removed from power...El Missy! had thousands of shoes in a "Closet" (More like large extra bedroom)

What a load of bunk. Blaming Americans for your corrupted morality or the japanese for brutality. Each human being, including Fillipinos, are responsible for their morality. You can't blame it on any one country. The answer: Filiponis are responsible for their "damaged culture."

I have always admired Filipinos and their culture. They are by in large a very creative and industrious people.
Advocating violence is greed on your part. a civil war is not what such a wonderful people need.
A call for blood, I'm sure you want to chose who's blood is spilled. And of course you will be in charge when the killing is over.
If you want to expel the bad elements, why be one of them.
