france wiill so win that game ever without zidane. i love zidane but with him in the team it would be hard for france to win be france with be italy.

To the idiot above....had italy lost to US they still finish first in the group so that argument is irrelevent. The referees handed italy the championship? The only questionable call favoring italy in any of those games was the one vs australia which A) was a reasonable call and B) was partially a makeup call for a red card given to Materazzi in the 50th minute that was CLEARLY not worthy of a red card. Given that Italy played for almost half the game a man down due to a bad call and nearly lost the game because of the terrible disadvantage this afforded them I would say the pk was justified. In no other game did italy receive a favorable call that caused them to win a game. In fact i would argue that in the final they were screwed by terrible calls. 1. the pk in the first half for france was absolute bullshit. 2. Toni was clearly not offsides when he scored the header goal in the second half. By my calculations the score should have been italy 2-0. Get your facts straight before you rant. Anyways about the upcoming game i think theyll draw. The stakes are not that high and i feel both teams will come out flat especially with players focused on club games, etc.

Wrong! I say France. They still have Thierry Henry, Barthez, Malouda, Trezeguet (who has to take the revange for that penalty missed), Makelele, Vieira, Abidal, Gallas, Thuram, Ribery, Diarra, Sagnol....should I go on?

italy should join the olympics diving team. they do great winning games that are handed to them by the refs. wow first juventus and then the world cup. USA beat Italy and they know it. those 2 red's were bs. 4* time world champs is what it should be.
