how to apply eyeliner to the top lid?

first, use a good eyeliner brand, Mary Kay is what I use. Lean your head back and look out the "bottom" of your eyes. Your eyes will close a bit if you do it correctly. You will still be able to see to apply the eye liner to the area just above your eyelashes. Do not draw a straight line across your lases, use small, short strokes with your eyeliner. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER pull the sides of your eyes to put eyeliner on. You don't want to create wrinkles around your eyes. I put my eyeliner on first, then apply my eyeshadow, and finish up with Mary Kay's Ultimate Mascara in black.

close your eye and kind of hold it out to the side with one of your hands while you apply the eyeliner with the other.
don't just DRAW a line over your lid and say, "i'm done".
start from the inner corner of your eye. pretend like your sketching on your top lid, but with an eyeliner pencil. start sketching gently from the inner and work your way out.
when you do this, try and dig the liner into your eyelashes, not literally dig it in, but try and get the pencil as close to the inside of your lashes as you can...if you don't, when you open up your eye, your going to see this small gap line between your top eyelashes and the eyeliner...so it's important that you get the pencil as close to your eyelashes as possible.
i don't wear eye-liner, but i attened a make-up summer class where a professional make-up artist taught us how to apply make-up properly, everything from foundations, to lip sticks, lip liners, blush, etc. and i learned that your really supposed to apply eyeliner to your TOP lid ONLY. this is because a lot of ppl don't have big eyes, and ppl who HAVE big eyes can actually wear eye liner on the bottom and pull it off real well b/c they have the eyes FOR it.
if you wear eyeliner on the bottom and u don't have big eyes, your eyes are gonna look way smaller.
if it's big eyes you want, use a white eye liner on the bottom ONLY, coat your eyelashes with mascara, and it'll make it look like your eyes are bigger than they really are.

Close your lid , open your mouth and stick out your tongue. I know this sounds silly, but it helps your eye stay closed. If that's just too silly for you to do and you must hold your eye closed, do not pull it to the side that will mess up your line.

u simply have to first begin through drawing them thick then finally u gets used to it and do not get careworn to use them so close ur lashes. Eventually u will b equipped to use it thinner every time. Oh! a particularly well trick is to shop for the tapes u placed on as a rule for asian females to make double eyelids. Just stick that tape just a little bit bigger and u can simply draw within the hole!! I wish it helped :)

close your eyes and take eyeliner and give a coat over the lid.again give another coat over that.this is the way i did
