You can do anything you want while you're having your menses.
You can just leave on your underwear depending what kind of protection you use. Massage will actually help with cramping because you will feel more relaxed. Massage helps with blood flow, rids your body of toxins & reduces edema to name a few health benefits. Hope this helps.

Hey, go ahead and have a good massage! Just let your therapist know that your having your period and how long it has started. A good therapist will probably not work on your abdomine because that will increase blood-flow. If you have cramps around the area, let her know too. She may do some movements to ease the pain. I'm talking if you're taking Swedish massage. I don't know about other methods but be sure to tell your therapist about your current health conditions.

yeah....why not? it may even help to relax you and alleviate some of the discomfort that comes along with your period. If you're self-concious about it, skip it and reschedule, but there's no other real reason it would affect your massage.

yea why not.. in any massage you tell the massuse what areas of your body are not to be massaged. they are professionals
