CongoLisaRice, despite all the helpful answers, I note the slave mentality exists in you and your kind. Not one person here felt it necessary to revert to racial undertones. PLEASE STOP ANSWERING MY POSTS, YOU ARE NOT SOPHISTICATED ENOUGH. How many times?

Try Cuba or Venezuela.
I hear Mogadishu is nice this time of year, and Liberal Values (non-sequitur) are highly treasured.

Try visiting one on an extended stay. Most of the people I have talked to find that they actually appreciate this country more after they have travelled.

Part of being truly liberal (small L) is having tolerance for the ideas of others. I wonder if you are being true to yourself if you cut and run because you don't like what other people think.

I imagine there are alot of countries out there. I'm wondering what you would talk about than. Seems to me the world would be very boring if everyone agreed. Also I respect the person over the party every time.

Well, Canada would be a good choice. most countries around the world these days don't want americans. they look at what we elect as our leaders and the kind of people we are and the image we represent to the world and frankly most of them don't want us in thier country. They are pretty happy with their liberal views and politics and they don't want americans coming there to polute their way of thinking. They want to keep the bad out.

Any industrialised nation in the modern world, when a country starts embracing conservatism, it starts falling behind in the world stage and will eventually turn into Mexico or Saudi Arabia.

Humanist - I hear you. I'm a humanist too and am highly disappointed in the way my country (Australia) is governed. I do love my country and am prepared to stand up and fight for the egalitarian values we used to hold dear, but sometimes I do think about jumping on a plane and heading to Switzerland. If only it weren't so cold....

Anywhere in the EU. Canada also has a lot of people with similar liberal views.
