I think Trotsky was a true communist, i.e., he held most strictly to the ideas of Marxism. Guevara was also a close follower of Marx although he was not the scholar that Trotsky was. Lenin, on the odd hand, was a brilliant man, less idealistic than either Trotsky or Guevara. He used the basis of Marxism to assemble revolutionists and to topple czarist Russia and, in my opinion, he was more of a crafty con-man than the others.

What do I think of them... hmmm??? ...all are remarkable political figures of the 20th century but I'm probably most impressed by Trotsky. He stood against a great deal of pressure from his peers, risking his life to voice his opinions, all in trying to better the lives of others, the simple pesants, by attempting to establish an ideal socialist system of government... something he truely believed in.... he was the ultimate idealist and a complete socialist, in my view.

i think of Trotsky exchange into being quite beneficiant. Liberalism, in maximum circumstances, is a problematical proposition: "What do we want?!?" "slow exchange!" "whilst do we want it?" "in the tip!" This attitude will by no ability stand up to that onslaught of violence and coercion that capitalists will constantly meet stressful circumstances to their capability with. the phantasm perpetuated with the aid of liberals that capitalists could nicely be "negotiated" with is in basic terms that, an phantasm. Liberals symbolize a faction of the political spectrum that recognizes the injustices of capitalism yet who lack the braveness and could to fulfill the oppressor head-on. think of of Paris in 1968: the finished u . s . introduced to the fringe of revolution purely to sink suitable lower back into the status quo with the aid of fact liberal pupils who ought to have been helping wonderful workers went on trip leaving the working type to fulfill the canines of the bosses (that's the law enforcement officers) on my own, with out extensive help. Liberals place themselves as mediators between the ingenious working type and the bourgoise whilst there is not any reason for mediation between the two. people who describe themselves as centrists piss me off. no longer something comes from status "in the midst of the line" different than getting run over with the aid of on-coming site visitors.
