Depends on the tattoo, but I would suggest considering something that wraps around the whole ankle, it seems a little more "manly" to me. Also, I'll give you a warning ... Regardless of what you men out there will say, most men have a harder time with tattoos then women, though it depends on your pain tolerance.

Personally? I think people worry too much over "masculinity" and "femininity." If you want a tattoo on your ankle-bone, get one. America relies too much on gender stereotypes/stigmas.

only if the bone in question is a female one, surely a male ankle bone is big enough to handle a decent size tatoo.

I think it depends on the tattoo. But in my own opinion, it's not the most masculine place for a tattoo on a guy.

It is because it attracts attention to a part "normally" considered attractive on females. If you do some design that is masculine, though, it might work for continuing a masucline appearance anyway.

that's basically in some circumstances a lady from the itty bitty breast committee have a chip on their shoulder about that. Self concious i wager. in my opinion, I evaluate the most female breasts to be the dimensions of oh, say .....Avocados

It shouldn't matter to you what other people think (or consider in this case), but, personally, I wouldn't consider it feminine.

Unless you make it look like a breast that's sticking out I don't think it will look feminine at all. If you do choose a breast, make sure it has a nipple, and don't write mom across it.
