I had a baby 6 months ago and when he was 3 weeks old i went on birth control a week later my husband and i had sex a few times. My question is if you are preg. and on the pill will you still get your period because of the pill? I recently went off to try and have another baby but there is a possibility that i could already be there. I was hoping for advice before i take a test.

to let everyone know i did go off the pill recently and am no longer on it. we want to have another baby and i know that you should wait a certian amount of time ( we have 3 kids total ages 10,6,and 6months and want two to be close together) but we really want another one. let me know what you think.

You may still get your period, but it's not likely.
It takes your body about a year to recover from the phsical stress of being pregnant, so take your time on the second one!

hey, u cannot take a pill if there's a slightest possibility of being pregnant. not only the pill can lead to miscarriage, but the baby can get birth defects.
I'm not scaring u though. modern pills start working from the first days. by the way, u can get ur period or spotting even being pregnant.

Yes, but you really need to get off the pill if you are trying or may aleady be pregnant because it could cause you to have a miscarrage. Take the test and if it is positive speak with your Dr. ASAP. Good Luck and Congrats!

I know of someone that was on the pill and became pregnant, NOTHING is 100% guaranteed except abstinence. So hopefully congrats are in order!

doctors and child speciallists actually warn that you shouldnt have a second child until the first is AT LEAST 2 years old.. you will understand why when your kid reaches age 2 - they are very needy of you and if you are "busy" with the "baby" they will HATE it!
