I am looking for places that are classy, original (not a chain), fun, different. The type of food doesn't matter and neither does price. My boyfriend and I like to try new places and we are running out of ideas! Anything you can think of in or around the cities would be helpful.

I was originally going to suggest MURRAY'S in downtown Minneapolis--but I'll suggest somewhere else too!

If you've haven't had the pleasure of dining there, it is a MUST! One of the best stories I've told about a dining experience involved Murray's...I don't know about 'fun', but even if you have a drink at the bar, you should at least stop in...
(1st & 2nd links--it's worth the wait for the 2nd link to load!)

For 60 years, Murray's has been an independently owned and operated restaurant. Today, Tim, James and Jill continue the third generation of Murray management. And, yes, Pat Murray is around most every evening. You are very likely to be seated by a member of the Murray family when you visit our restaurant.

Where I want to send you (and you have to visit in the next 30 days) is the OAK GRILL in Marshall FIelds. In September Macy's takes over so who knows what they will do with the restaurant! THE BEST POPOVERS!! You forget that you're in a department store when you eat there. It's on the 8th floor of Marshall Fields at 700 Nicollet Mall. The only down side is that the store closes at 8:00pm so dinner should be about 6:00. Call a head to see if they are still open before you visit. Sorry--couldn't find any links.

3rd link just a few suggestions from someone else

Happy hunting!

I went to Minneapolis for a conference a couple of years ago and ate at a place call the Marketplace Cafe. It was great! They served a wild rice bisque that is the best soup I have ever had. The prices are reasonable, and the food was awesome.

When my husbgand and I came to Minneapolis we ate at a couple places inside that huge mall there...Sorry I can not think of the name. One was on the first floor and was kinda dark inside with lots of dark wood and yellow on the walls. They had a wonderful banana cream pie for dessert that the waiter was nice enough to bring their famous chocolate sauce for and it was heavnly.

On the third floor I think it was near Famous Daves there was a place called Kokomos...It was good food. I had a jerk chicken sandwhich that had mango on it. I was not a fan of mango then but it was a really good sandwhich. Sorry I don't remember many of the names for these places.

When there we stayed at a Homestead Studio Suites and on the same exit or so there was a bar that was really good. It was huge. So I guess if you wanted to research that you could look for Homestead. It was on the south side of the city...and we could drive like less then 10 minutes to get into Minneapolis.

Hell's Kitchen (89 S 10th St)
Amazing place for breakfast, brunch or lunch (not open evenings) Worth getting up in the morning for their unusual and delicious menu! Foods are fresh and well prepared. The rosti potatoes are to die for.

my wife has family up in the cities, so whenever we go up there, she HAS to go to Benihanas (sp?). It's a Japanese place where they cook the food right at the table for you. There's also the cheescake factory near the SW part of the cities that has great food and just about every kind of cheescake you can think of.

in case you have "completed your homework" how have you ever no longer discovered a breeder? you merely could Google TICA, CFA or ACFA, the breed and the place you reside to locate one. assume to pay a minimum of $a million,000 for a puppy high quality kitten. you would be able to could wait till next year to get one. respected breeders basically tend to have a pair of breeding women and one clutter a year so any kittens they have now are truthfully spoken for. edit: wow i could never purchase a kitten from that breeder somebody appropriate to. they have FOURTEEN breeding women and 7 breeding men so of course a breeder breeding totally to make funds - and a lot of it.
