why is it that when guys finally get what they've always wanted, ad once they have it...they dont want it anymore. I made a guy wait on me for a looong time ( more than a year)...and he treated me as if he only when out with me for fun. Why is that? I treated him right! I called him all the time! He only called me like 4 times the whole time we were together (1 month). He missed my birthday too. He didn't even call! =[

It's called the thrill of the chase. You were a challenge, but once you gave in, you were just another notch on the belt. You, on the other hand, considered yourself a real prize and were looking for commitment. You're both too young to know what you really want in life. You're both experimenting. You're bound to get hurt if you waste yourself on anyone. Read a book. You might learn something. Tutor a child who has a learning problem. You'll connect with another person on an other-than-sexual basis. Adopt a pet from an animal shelter and you'll get all the reciprocal love you can handle.
In other words -- get a real life, not one built around a male. And guess what, you'll become a person who's worth more than you were and you'll find someone who will value you as a human being. In layman's terms, it's called growing up and maturing. It's exciting and fulfilling. And once you have more to offer a male than the use of your body, you'll attract the kind of people you can share your life with.

Life is full of ups and downs. It's a crazy rollercoaster ride. I just wish that for a little while women and men could change emotionally. Let the men get all crazed and wild when things dont happe nthe way they should have and we girls could just sit back and be like "so, big deal, get over it." sometimes guys and their macho, who gives attitude makes me want to scream... So I am sorry for you honey and just hang in there. Just be happy that you didn't marry this creap. Then it would be really bad.

ALL GUYS ARE NOT THAT WAY. IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THAT WAY. MAYBE NEXT TIME, INSTEAD OF BEING HARD TO GET, TAKE YOUR TIME GETTING TO KNOW THE PERSON.
