Can i do early pregnancy test, prior to my period 5 days?

Question

I would love to get early pregnancy test. But i was thinking of using First Response pregnancy test, 5 days prior to my period. Am really excited. What do you think??

Of course. The pregnacy hormone can be detected just 2 weeks after conception. I recommend using a cheap pregnancy test from the dollar store. This is because pregnancy tests are looking for a HCG level. All pregnancy tests are designed to detect this hormone.They work just as good and wont make you go broke. Very rarley do false readings occur but it happens. Sometimes certain medications or drugs can affect the outcome. Good Luck!

The digital pregnancy test tells you 5 days sooner, but the chances of a positive pregnancy showing up positive on the test are slimmer the earlier. I would wait a few days to get a clearer answer

New tests can detect pregnancy that early. You may want to save money and get the double pack and retest in the event of a negative result.

Go ahead. But if you have low levels of the hormone, it might not pick it up. Make sure you get a test that has two strips. I took mine before my missed period and it turned positive in 2 seconds. ^_^

yes you know what i found one in a dollar store and bought it for a friend it was a faint line but it was their! she was only 1 week pregnant! her DR said that a test is a test it really doesn't matter on the brand. GOOD LUCK:)

it might not be accurate, but you can try. I suggest getting a multi-pack so you can test again in a few days in case it comes out negative.

I would so go for it! I took my first response test 2 WEEKS AFTER my pariod and I found out that I was! GOOD LUCK
