Beauty is an important factor for women, I understand... Though society places too high of a standard by glamorizing the rich and famous... This causes real life women to feel inferior, which leads to questions such as this one. In actuality, all that matters is if your are healthy! Who cares if you can wear super small clothes? Not being obese is important for the health (heart, joints and so on).
Being overweight is not very healthy either.

"Slim" can mean anything between skinny up to just not overweight. Within this range anything is right what makes you feel good. I would hate to look skinny like a skeleton for example and rather have a well rounded body, it makes me cute. I am careful not to be overweight though.
