it was supposed to be undertaker vs khali at the great american bash in a punjabi prison match. but why did big show take khali place?

Khali had to be taken off the roster at the last minute. His drug testing showed that something was a bit wrong with his liver. From what I've read, they aren't thinking drugs so much as Hepatitis C. Then again, that might just be the cover story.
That is also the reason that Super Crazy and Lashley will be off TV for a while. Perhaps even Matt Hardy. Regardless, to not expect to read this on wwe.com, or hear it in the storylines.
