I have known this guy for about five months now. We are friends and sometimes more. No commitments. No promises. I like his company he likes mine.
He has a tendency to not call people back...however, he usually calls me back in a day or two.
I called him lastweek Tuesday...no call back. I called him over the weekend to see if he wanted to hang out. Nothing.
It's been a week and still nothing. Finally, this past Sunday I left a message that I was alternating between annoyed and worried and that I just wanted to know if he was all right. And still nothing.
What should I do?
He doesn't owe me anything, and I don't owe him anything. But I think I deserve to know what the hell is up.
Plus, he has one of my favorite movies and a book of mine.
And...not to mention the fact that I miss him. And really like
being friends with him.
What are your thoughts? Suggestions?

I'm gonna say you're having sex with this chap? He doesn't call you back, comes by for a quickie, that's all it's ever gonna be sweetie! You wanna see where his loyalty lies, go to one of his hang-outs with another guy, he may end up a bit jealous. If he does you got him hook line and sinker. If not, it was never meant to be. Hey, good luck to ya!

He feels you getting too close, he thinks your going beyond friend, and hes afraid, like you said he's not a commitment person. I would say call him back with strictly business, tell him you want your movie and your book back, if he responds you can at least get those items back and maybe even talk to him more, if he doesnt respond, then move on. Oh and if you do fear something has happened to him go to his place and check it out, or call one of his friends.

Go get the book "Why Men Love Bitches".
He sounds like an immature flake who knows that you're on his jock (pardon the 90's slang), and needs to be taught a lesson. But be aware that it could be that he's just not that into you - pick that book up too while you're at Borders.

Good Luck.

Tell a mutual friend that you think he got arrested.
How you can't imagine that he would not call you back, or keep your stuff if he never wanted to ever speak with you again.
Then say something like, maybe I should call the city morgue...

Wait it out. See what happens when you dont call for a couple of days. He may just change his tune.

I think that you should just consider this one to be done with. It sounds to me like he is trying to ignore you. Like you said that was no commitment so he really doesn't owe you any explanation or anything. Just leave him a message to please return your things to you.

Forget about him. Isn't this is too obvious that he is avoiding you? Get someone that both you and him knows and get back your items. Carry on with your life, it is his lost not having you, not yours.
I am pretty sure you will soon find someone whom deserve your love.

go over to his house and c if he is there. if u r just good friends, with no commitments. he prolly doesnt have anything to hide, if he does it must be somthing pretty bad if he dont want u to know. if he dont want u to know than it might be for ur own good.
good luck

It could be you’re not as uncommitted as you say. Your calling him constantly is probably why he would think that. Or, he has gotten himself a new girlfriend.
