Can I ask how old you are? If you are over the age of 35, a fertility specialist is where you need to go now. If you are UNDER the age of 35 and have been trying for 2.5, I give the same advice as well. They'll do some testing of your hormones and your hubby's swimmers. They may put one or both of you on a hormone therapy that promotes fertility. (Careful though. You could end up with a multiple birth pregnancy.)
In the meantime, I've heard the legs up thing works. I've also heard that having your hubby switch to boxers [if he wears briefs] is good for cooling his little travelers down, which I understand is sort of "key." Having sex only once a week instead of every night (keeps his numbers up, IF you know what I mean.) Taking your temperature and paying attention to when it goes up; this is when you're supposed to be ovulating. Count 8 to 12 days after your last day of your period to get to the same goal-finding when you're ovulating. These are few suggestions.
After a couple (2 or 3 mos) go to a women's clinic that specializes in fertility and high-risk pregnancy. Let them help you figure out what is going on with your bodies (it could be be your hubby's issue) and what can be done to help you achieve your goal of becoming parents.
Good luck! Have some more fun "practicing" and I'll keep you in my prayers.

After 2.5 years, it's time to visit the doctor. There could be a medical hurdle that needs to be jumped. Also, check out the book _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_; it has easy to read info and photos that will help you find exactly when you're ovulating. (An ovulation kit could help, too.)
As for basic tips, don't let your husband take a hot shower or bath before you baby dance, and if he's athletic, make sure he's not wearing tight fitting underwear. Don't baby dance too often, either, or you'll deplete his sperm count. Once a day is probably the limit. Best wishes!

You don't so much as have to have your legs in the air! LOL! Just a good tilt of the pelvis will do. Couple of pillows under the rump for an hr or so. 2 1/2 yrs is a long time though, have you consulted a fertilization clinic?
Get yourself and the hubby tested, it may be that he doesn't produce as much sperm as is recommended, or your eggs may not be dropping. Or both. A good specialist can help you determine whats what and give you extra hints on getting preggers. If all else fails there is always invetro to try. Good Luck!

well first off if you have been trying for that long you should of been to a doctor the both of you and if youre still not concieving within a year and your doctor has no answers then you need a fertility specialist. There can be an underlying problem that needs some fixing.
Also stress helps in infertility so if your stressing about baby it won't happen. Just have sex and like it. Don't do it to just make a baby. Do it when your body is calling for it...:)

yes, i promise this works and it can't hurt to try. drink 1 cup of black pekoe tea every single day. don't drink more than 2 cups because it didn't show in studies to help out, and the extra caffiene might interfere. my friend struggled w. infertility for 2 years and i read this study (like 9 years ago) and she got preg the very next month. i did it both times we tried to get preg. and we were within 2 months each time. good luck guys!

If you have friends with babies, babysit. It sounds strange, but nurturing a child (any child) will boost your hormones. It's why some women who can't have kids and adopt, get pregnant right after.
