Both my young daughters were given them for christmas. They were oval shaped rings of sturdy plastic material about 6 inches tall. You adjust their bouncieness or resilience by adding a certain number of 'rubber bands' to a platform piece. The number of rubber bands depends on the weight to be held. This explanation may sound strange but they are very sturdy and probably worth the money if your child uses them. (mine don't) Ours came from the JCPenny catalogue.

i did a search for them. All I could find goes on and on about how cool they are. Also I found that they are good for helping a child helping build coordination.

I think that they look like they would be fun. But I would not allow a child to use them without supervision.

I was going to buy my daughter some, till I found out they were $40.00. They are like pogo sticks for your shoes.
