"Miao", "gwaaaak", "hoo hoo hooooo", "mooooo"...
I can imitate the sounds of other animals... at least approximately :p
But apart from humans, what animal has the ability to do this?
Well, a possible answer might be "parrots", but a parrot's imitation is even LESS accurate than that of humans, heh. So, can someone think of another species that is as adept as humans at "vocal imitation"?

Mockingbirds can imitate the calls of other birds, which would mean that they can "imitate the sound of another species."

And if you've ever heard and African Grey Parrot imitate the phone ringing so well that you actually go to answer it, you'd likely re-think your last paragraph. Since I didn't get Wally on tape, check out Einstein instead:

Many of the Corvid family - mockingbirds, ravens, crows, jays, magpies - are very intelligent and gifted mimics. I have seen mockingbirds torment cats by calling "hear kitty" and "meow" at them. Strange, to say the least!
Parrots can talk, some better than others. My lady friend's can bark. Her father thought it funny to bark at him, now he barks.
That business about cutting birds' tongues is barbaric and wrong BTW. Birds do not use their tongues to form their sounds.
Siamese cats can make a wide range of sounds. I am not sure that they consciously mimic humans but it can be eerie to hear them sound like babies crying and other passionate sounds.
I have heard dogs supposedly "talk". I am not convinced. Usually it is by some very sweet lady who thinks the drooling canine can say "Momma." Ok. Just don't expect me to kiss the thing.
Dolphins can do some wide ranging sounds. I am still waiting by the shore for Flipper or Fa to come up and say something.
Paris Hilton has an record out. Does that count?

The lyrebird.
Lyrebirds can imitate ANYTHING they hear- phones ringing, chainsaws, car alarms, other bird calls, other animal sounds... They sing long complicated mating songs which incorporate any and every song and sound they can make. Their sounds are so realistic they can fool humans until they look right at them and realize it's a bird. Check out this video, it gives a good demo:

Isn't a mocking bird called that because it imitates other species of bird?

Starlings. They are dirty birds, but we have a bunch of them, and they can sound just like a cat when they want to.
