actually, you only must to notice how is he wiht you, and if you feel that he is nice with you, then take a risk and tell him what do you feel for he....

If you are still in High school then just smile at him and Say, Your Eric Right? But make sure his name is not Eric and He will say, No I'm Bla Bla Bla and you say "oh Sorry, Well nice to meet you anyway. If you already know him, ask him for help with something, like directions to some place far. When he feels like he helped you he will notice you more and be more likely to start a conversation. Go out with a few friends including him and maybe even your friend who likes him. Just see what happens. If your friend liked him first I would back off, otherwise go for it!

Get one of your friends (not the friend that likes him) to ask one of his friends if he likes either of you. That way you don't have to be embarrassed if he says no ... or yes! B

personally i would just find someone else and make sure your friend doesntr go after him too because it can cause arguments and jealousy and lead to a friendship lost.

Why don't you just ASK... :) It will work. I know it sounds obvious and silly, but the moment we stop worrying so much about other people's reactions or opinions, we will suffer less heart attacks. :)

i have the same situation but i would suggest to just talk to him and ask but if your friends get mad just say "hey if u wanted him why didn't u ask earlier.
