i know that hugh o' connor and caroll o' connor were father and son except that hugh o' connor was adopted... who likes that show still and is there a dvd box set of the show and where can i buy it??

i know that hugh o' connor died in 1995 of a drug over dose and carrol o' connor sued the guy that sold his son the drugs..... i think that show should be brought back... what about you??

i know that it was on tnt on july 22nd but i missed it... does anyone think they should make a show about the same things and the same charictors but different actors??? Hugh o' connor was born april 17 and he died march 22nd 1995.. how old was he?? and do you think he was a good charitor??

I know that Hugh O' Connor had a son.. how do i find more about Hugh O' connor?? I hope that this show will be remembered 4 ever... i know i loved it and still do.. how about you?? i was about god i think 5 when i watched it for the first time.. and that was in 1993.. and i was born 3 days before it aired.. how old were you when you started to watch it?? and why do you like it??

It's one of my all time favorite shows. Bubba was my favorite character on it. Did you see the original movie with Sidney Poitier and Rod Steiger? There were alot of great actors on there that has since died, Carrol O'Connor, Hugh O'Connor and Howard Rollins.

Yes it was a real good show with Carroll O'connor (Archie Bunker) and Harold Rollins. The show was based on the movie which starred Sidney Portier in the 60's. That was a good movie too.

It ran from 1988 until 1994.
The series isn't available on DVD, but you can get the original 1967 movie.

OH so well, when I first married and lived in Louisiana, we couldn't afford cable and the only channel that came in clearly played that about 12 times a day. I cringe when I hear the them song.

of course carrol O' Conner and Howard Rollins the guy from Archie Bunker,they were two small town country sherrifs.good show,I heard they were good friends in real life!!
